The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was introduced in 2020 in response to COVID-19 to help keep small businesses financially afloat during the pandemic when many businesses had to temporarily close. The list of businesses that were able to obtain loans from the government under the PPP is available online. The file Alaska_ppp.csv contains a list of loans of less than $150,000 granted before July 2020 in the state of Alaska.
